ECG chip

High precision and low power mV-level signal recording chip
Overview

The KS1081/KS1082 integrates a low noise amplifier, filter, right-hand drive circuit, internal reference and low-dropout linear regulator. The chip has low noise and high common mode interference suppression, and can accurately extract millivolt-level biomedical signals (such as ECG, EMG signals) and amplify in a noise environment introduced by motion or electrode remote conditions. With high performance, the KS1081/KS1082 allows extra analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) or embedded microcontrollers (MCUs) to record high quality physiological signals at low cost.

High input impedance of the KS1081/KS1082 supports biopotential recording by the  metal dry electrode and fabric electrodes, and ban be used to acquire ECG signal from finger tips.

The KS1081/KS102 makes the off-the-shelf components of the application solution circuit greatly reduced (only 5 components), which significantly saves the area of the PCB and the BOM cost.

With high precision, low power and high integration, the KS1081/KS102 can be used in medical equipment, mobile health devices and other sensors.

Feature

The KS1081/KS1082 has equivalent input noise as low as 3μV and common-mode noise rejection of 85 dB, as well as flexible gain configuration of 50-720 via the integrated SPI interface. The built-in high precision LDO supports supply input from 2 V to 3.7V. The KS1081/KS1082 can be used for signal acquisition by dry or fabric electrodes. The dynamic power consumption of is about 120uA. The chip has a ±4 kV HBM ESD rating.
