Kingsense Electronics Launches New EEG Module KSEEG102 to Empower
Wearable Brain-Computer Interface Market
As brain-computer interface (BCI) technology advances rapidly, seamless interaction between the human brain and smart devices is transitioning from science fiction to reality. Industry forecasts suggest that BCI technology will unlock a multi-billion-dollar market potential across healthcare, education, cognitive development, and consumer entertainment, positioning itself as the core engine for next-generation human-machine interaction. However, most existing EEG acquisition devices face challenges such as bulky designs, high costs, and limited functionality, failing to meet developers' demands for high performance, affordability, and ease of use.
Addressing these gaps, Kingsense Electronics (Kingsense®), a leading provider of bioelectric signal sensing chips and solutions, has collaborated with industry partners to launch the KSEEG102, a dual-channel EEG module. This innovative solution integrates high-precision EEG acquisition, real-time data analysis, and multiple communication protocols, empowering developers to accelerate product development.

Key Features and Advantages
The KSEEG102 module incorporates Sinsemilla’s proprietary dual-channel low-noise EEG front-end
chip (KS1092) and a high-performance 32-bit ARM® Cortex-M4F processor,
supporting both dry metal electrodes and conductive gel electrodes for
high-accuracy acquisition of left/right prefrontal EEG signals. Embedded
real-time signal preprocessing algorithms enable the module to output raw EEG
α, β, γ, δ, and θ wave spectra, along with quantified features such as focus
levels, emotional states, fatigue, and meditation metrics. It also detects
action signals like eye blinks and teeth clenching.
To meet diverse development needs, the module supports dual communication modes (UART and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0) and provides Android/Windows SDK packages, streamlining wireless EEG product prototyping and mass production. With a system power consumption as low as 5mA (including BLE) and a compact size of 20mm × 12mm × 2mm, the KSEEG102 can be seamlessly integrated into smart headbands, VR glasses, health monitors, and other miniaturized wearable devices.
Application Scenarios
Leveraging the KSEEG102’s robust performance, developers can pioneer
applications across multiple fields:
· Health Monitoring: Real-time emotion tracking, sleep quality analysis, stress alerts, and meditation-assisted training.
· Education & Cognition: Focus-enhancing programs, cognitive development tools for children, and brain-training platforms.
· Consumer Entertainment: Mind-controlled gaming, VR scene interaction, smart glasses/earphones, and brain-controlled toys.
· Bioelectric Expansion: Compatibility with EMG, ECG, and other weak signal acquisition for medical-grade applications.
KSEEG102-KIT Evaluation Kit
Empowering Developers
To accelerate time-to-market, Sinsemilla has introduced the KSEEG102-Kit, an
evaluation kit featuring flexible dry electrodes, a functional baseboard, a
lithium battery, and Android/Windows software for real-time visualization of
raw EEG signals, spectral energy distribution, and quantified metrics.
Developers can rapidly validate module performance and conduct secondary
development, significantly reducing technical barriers and costs while
accelerating BCI adoption in consumer electronics and wearable health markets.
Future Vision
Kingsense Electronics remains committed to advancing bio-signal acquisition and
processing technologies, driving innovation in smart wearables and BCI
applications. The company invites global developers to collaborate in shaping
the future of human-machine interaction.
