Kingsense Electronics Launches Dual-Channel Bluetooth EEG Module EEGM102

Imagine controlling electronic devices with your thoughts—a futuristic concept once confined to sci-fi movies is now becoming reality, powered by Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology. BCI, hailed as the "information superhighway" bridging the human brain and external devices, enables direct communication between the brain and computers without relying on traditional pathways. Market analysts predict BCI will unlock a multi-billion-dollar market spanning healthcare, wellness, education, entertainment, and beyond.

To address this frontier, Kingsense Electronics (Kingsense®) has partnered with industry leaders to launch the EEGM102, a dual-channel Bluetooth EEG sensing module. Leveraging proprietary high-precision EEG chips and years of algorithm development, the EEGM102 boasts the highest accuracy, lowest power consumption, smallest size (12mm×20mm×2mm), and superior integration among commercial EEG modules. This release marks another milestone in Sinsemilla’s commitment to advancing wearable EEG technology.

Core Technology and Features
The EEGM102 integrates Kingsense’s dual-channel low-noise EEG front-end chip (KS1092) and a low-power 32-bit ARM® Cortex-M4F Bluetooth 5.0 MCU, delivering high-precision signal acquisition and robust processing capabilities. The module supports metal or conductive gel electrodes for forehead-based EEG signal capture and outputs raw α, β, γ, δ, θ brainwave spectra alongside quantified metrics such as focus levels, emotional states (left/right brain), mental workload, fatigue, relaxation, and meditation.

Key Advantages:

·   Dual-channel EEG signal acquisition

·   Supports 4–5 metal or dry electrodes

·   Multi-band brainwave output (α, β, γ, δ, θ)

·   Quantified EEG metrics (focus, emotion, stress, etc.)

·   Independent left/right brain monitoring and analysis

·   Wear detection functionality

·   Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 5.0) communication

·   Simplified peripheral circuitry for easy integration

·   Ultra-low power consumption: 5mA (max, including BLE)

·   Compact size: 20mm(L) × 12mm(W) × 2mm(H)

User-Friendly Development
To accelerate productization, Kingsense offers a multi-platform SDK (iOS, Android, Unity, Windows, Linux, macOS, WeChat Mini Programs) and the EEGM102-Kit evaluation kit. The kit includes FPC flexible electrodes, a functional baseboard, and PC software for real-time EEG visualization and secondary development. Unlike traditional EEG headsets requiring ear-clip electrodes, the EEGM102 enables all-electrode forehead placement, streamlining device design and enhancing user comfort.

Application Scenarios
The EEGM102 empowers developers to create lightweight, compact wearable BCI products across industries:

·   Education: Focus training, cognitive development tools

·   Healthcare: Emotion/sleep/fatigue monitoring, mindfulness/meditation aids

·   Consumer Tech: VR glasses, smart helmets, brain-controlled gaming

·   Expanded Bio-Sensing: Compatibility with ECG, EMG for medical-grade applications

Future-Ready Innovation
Kingsense continues to lead in bio-signal processing, driving breakthroughs in wearable BCI solutions. The company invites global partners to collaborate on pioneering next-gen human-machine interaction technologies.
